How do I link a bank account for ACH transfer?

Mobile App

  1. Tap the Account icon in the bottom right corner.
  2. Tap Deposit/Withdrawal.
  3. Tap Setup Now.
  4. Select your bank from the list. If your bank is not listed, select Other banks to continue.
  5. Enter your online banking username and password.
  6. Select the account you would like to link. We recommend linking a checking account rather than a savings account to avoid potential transfer reversals.
  7. Enter a nickname for your account and an initial deposit amount (optional).
  8. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions and hit Submit to complete your ACH setup.

Web

  4. Request and enter the verification code.
  5. Select your bank and click Continue.
  6. Enter your online banking username and password.
  7. Select the account you would like to link. We recommend linking a checking account rather than a savings account to avoid potential transfer reversals.
  8. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions and hit Submit to complete your ACH setup.

Electronic Funds Transfer (ACH) is available to all Firstrade accounts and the linked bank account must be via a U.S. bank. You may not link third-party bank accounts, such as a business account (even if your name is on the account). Not available for Simple IRA, SEP IRA, ESA Accounts, or Investment Club accounts.
