Options that Trade Until 4:15 pm (Eastern Standard Time)

Most options stop trading at the market close, however some trade 15 minutes after the market close. The following options trade until 4:15 pm EST :

AMJ, DBA, DBB, DBC, DBO, DIA, DJX, EEM, EFA, GLD, GAZ, IWM, IWN, IWO, IWV, JJC, KBE, KRE, MDY, MOO, MRUT, NDX, NDXP, OEF, OEX, OIL, QQQ, RUT, RUTW, SLX, SPX, SPXW, SPY, SVIX, SVXY, UNG, UUP, UVIX, UVXY, VIX, VIXW, VIXM, VIXY, VXX, VXZ, XEO, XHB, XLB, XLC, XLE, XLF, XLI, XLK, XLP, XLRE, XLU, XLV, XLY, XME, XRT, XSP.

Complex option orders cannot be placed outside of the regular market hours of 9:30 am to 4:00 pm EST. Any open complex option day orders in the above symbols placed before 4:00 pm EST. will continue to receive/display order status updates until 4:15 pm EST., unless cancelled.

Exception for cash-settled index options

On the last trading day, expiring NDXP, RUTW, MRUT, SPXW, XSP, OEX & XEO options will trade until 4:00 pm EST and non-expiring options will continue to trade until 4:15 pm EST. To learn more, please visit CBOE website.
