How do I transfer an IRA out from Firstrade?

You can initiate a transfer by contacting the other brokerage. 

Keep in mind that if you would like to transfer assets from Firstrade to another financial institution via ACAT, Apex Clearing will charge a partial transfer fee of $55 or a full account transfer fee of $75.

* Partial Transfers will require a remaining account value of $555 (with at least $55 in cash balance).  Otherwise, a full Transfer should be requested.
