Are crypto assets insured?

Cryptocurrencies purchased through Firstrade are stored as part of the services in one or more omnibus Hosted Wallets with Apex Crypto. Apex Crypto partners with some most trusted wallet providers in the United States to ensure the safety and security of the crypto assets you invest in. Apex Crypto’s wallet partners are insured, which provides additional protection to members who choose to invest in crypto. 

Keep in mind that cryptocurrencies are not securities, they are not covered by FDIC or SIPC insurance.
